Cryptocurrency and the Dark Web

We are seeing a significant rise in what we call 'ransomware', where devices are crypto locked, and a ransom is demanded for unlocking those devices; there has been a shift towards mobile platforms from the desktops or PCs; crime has been emerging as a service or business model - where crime is provided as a service; there have been many attacks on financial sectors in the form of distributed denial of service (DDoS) as a type of service attack against big firms; various ATM malware are in existence; and we are witnessing a shift towards the use of the dark web & cryptocurrency, along with the thefts that accompany it. What are we doing to counter this, and what more can be done in the fiture?
