The focus of the Synergia Conclave 2017 was to help governments and industry reimagine their 'business' in a digitized and asymmetric world. Does security mean active defence including stealth and laser guided weapons or can it mean building relationships, controlling inequalities and recognizing each other's humanity?
How does one respond to cyber threats that are asymmetric and perhaps non-attributable. Keynote presentations and panel discussions gave participants a rare chance to interact, reenergize, rethink and reset their process and learn from leading security experts and strategic thinkers from around the world.
I enjoyed the Forum very much and I am very glad to see that Synergia is engaged in geopolitical and security issues in Bangalore, and I think it is very important that institutions like this flourish and give a platform for discussion. I was very happy with the quality of the discussions and I wish Synergia greater success in the future.
